Recording artist, Mindy Anderson, recently released the jazz album, "Rooted", created to help provide children the opportunity to experience the lasting hope and joy of being rooted in a loving family. In partnership with the Ibsen Adoption Network (www.ibsenadopt.org), all proceeds from the album will go to support special needs adoption. Ibsen is a private, Christian, nonprofit organization that for the past ten years has been working to raise awareness about the needs of waiting children, giving grants towards the cost of adoption, and developing support groups for adoptive families. "Thousands of children in the United States are trapped in the foster care system waiting for a permanent family and millions of children worldwide will go to sleep tonight in an orphanage or alone on the street. Although we cannot help every waiting child in the world, together, one child at a time, we can help give children the opportunity to experience the life changing gift of family."
